The Kippford Forest Lodges offer a lovely place to stay, beautifully landscaped and very well maintained.
The site offers lovely views over the Lochan and of the surrounding Galloway Hills. To the rear there is woodland including an 8000 year old bluebell area and a breeding Red Squirrel population, as well as viewpoints from where you can see over the sea to the Lake District (over 40 miles away to the south) and into the Galloway Hills (over 20 miles) to the north.
