Kippford – one of the most idyllic locations in South-West Scotland. The perfect holiday setting for those who wish to avoid noisier resorts and the crowded, bustling city centre.

With Dumfries and Galloway known as 'Scotland's Riviera’ for its rocky headlands, historical abbeys and picturesque landscapes, Kippford is the ideal seaside village for your next break, whatever the weather.

The Perfect Staycation

Escape from the world for a few days and experience a forestry break at your own private getaway. We take pride in the quality of our Scottish Tourist Board Certified 4-Star lodges ‘Bengairn’ and ‘Kipphaven‘, situated within ‘Kipp Paddock’, an exclusive development of ten lodges, overlooking a charming landscaped lochan and beautiful gardens.

Both Bengairn and Kipphaven have private parking and feature enclosed decking, with views to the open countryside beyond. There is woodland to the rear of the site, including an 8000 year old bluebell area and a breeding red squirrel population. Forestry walks from the site lead to some stunning viewpoints, where you can see the Lake District to the south and Galloway Hills to the north.

Both lodges have full central heating, gas and electricity included. The interior has a large open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with breakfast bar. There are three large bedrooms - a master king-sized with en-suite, a twin room and an adult-sized bunk room with additional shower room (towels supplied). The en-suite bath has jet-spa facilities, so you can relax in your own personal hot tub or instead unwind with a glass of wine on your private veranda, overlooking a sunset view of the lovely countryside.

Disabled access can be facilitated on our Kipphaven Lodge. If you are bringing babies or young children, we can arrange a cot or high-chair with no extra charge. Please note our lodges are strictly no smoking.

Pets Go Free

We know how important it is for your pets to come along with you, so we do not have any additional costs for bringing them. The local pubs are also pet-friendly, as long as they are well-behaved.
